Delivery & Orders

How much does delivery cost and which delivery company do you use?
Letterbox Flowers & Plants - We offer FREE delivery on all our Letterbox Flowers and Plants. We use the Royal Mail 24 Service. More than 95% of deliveries arrive the next day with Royal Mail 24. However please note that this service is not a guaranteed service, and Royal Mail suggest a delivery window of 1-3 working days. Order by 3pm for same-day despatch, Monday to Friday. However, we do not despatch on weekends or public holidays. Orders placed after 3pm on a Friday will not be despatched until the following Monday. Royal Mail 24 does not deliver on Sundays and Bank Holidays. 

Hand-tied bouquets - We offer FREE delivery on our Hand-tied bouquets. All Hand – tied bouquets are sent via DPD Courier on a Standard Next Day service, order by 3pm Monday-Friday for same day dispatch. Deliveries for Saturdays must be placed by 3pm the previous day. Please note this courier service does not deliver on Sundays or Bank Holidays and we do not dispatch on a Saturday or Sunday or Bank Holiday. 

 

Do you deliver at the weekend (or on public holidays)?
We deliver Hand-Tied bouquets nationwide on a Saturday but not Sundays or public holidays. We do not dispatch Hand- Tied bouquets on a Saturday, Sunday or public holidays.

Letterbox flowers and Plants are not delivered on Sundays and public holidays. Letterbox flowers can only be despatched Monday to Friday, not weekends or public holidays.

 

Where do you deliver?
We currently deliver to addresses on mainland UK. However, we do not deliver our couriered products such as Hand-Tied Bouquets to the Channel Islands, Isle of Man, Isles of Scilly, Scottish Islands, BFPO addresses, Northern Ireland or the Republic of Ireland. Please ensure you are not sending Hand-Tied Bouquets to any of the following postcode prefixes:

Products sent via Royal Mail to the above postcodes can sometimes take approximately a day longer to arrive than normal.

Please note
that we can not be held responsible if an incorrect or invalid address has been used on an order. Incorrect addresses can cause your flowers to be delayed or to not arrive, so please double-check your recipient's address before you send to avoid disappointment.

 

Do you offer Next Day delivery?
Yes we do for Hand-Tied bouquets only. Our Hand-tied bouquets are shipped via DPD, a next day guaranteed delivery service. Our courier does not deliver on a Sunday or Bank Holidays. Saturday deliveries must be placed before 3pm on a Friday.

Our Letterbox Bouquets are shipped via Royal Mail 24, which is not a guaranteed next-day service. However, over 95% of Royal Mail 24 orders are delivered within 1 working day. Please allow 1-3 working days with Royal Mail service. Order by 3pm for same day despatch, Monday to Friday. We do not despatch on weekends or public holidays. Letterbox flowers and Plants can not be delivered on Sundays or public holidays.

 

What is the deadline for placing an order?
If you require same day despatch you will need to place the order before 3pm Monday to Friday. If you order after 3pm, or on a Saturday or Sunday, your order will be dispatched on the next working day.

 

Can you guarantee delivery on a specific date?
To guarantee a specific date (except Sundays & Bank Holidays), choose a Hand-tied bouquet and a despatch date of the day before it is required.  Your order will be shipped via DPD for delivery the day after your despatch date. If you are choosing a Saturday delivery day you must place your order before 3pm the previous day. 

For Letterbox Flowers we use Royal Mail’s 24 service for delivery. This service aims to achieve a next-day delivery and over 95% of deliveries arrive next day if you order before 3pm Monday - Friday. However, Royal Mail's service allows 1-3 working days for delivery. Choose your despatch date accordingly. Please note Royal Mail 24 do not deliver on Sundays or Bank Holidays, and we do not despatch on the weekend or public holidays. 

 

What if the recipient is not home for delivery?
If a Letterbox Bouquet has been purchased and your recipient has a standard letterbox, then your recipient does not need to be at home for the delivery. If our other products have been purchased which do not fit through a letterbox and the recipient is not at home, Royal Mail or DPD will leave a collection card for the recipient to collect the parcel from their local sorting office or from a neighbour. 

Our packages are designed to keep your flowers in good condition for a couple of days but we would advice that parcels are collected as soon as possible. 

 

Will Letterbox Flowers fit through all letterboxes?
Unfortunately, we can not guarantee that Letterbox Flowers will fit through all letterboxes. Our Letterbox Bouquets have been specially designed to fit through the vast majority of standard UK letterboxes, with our box dimensions being as follows: Width: 19cm, Depth: 4cm, Length: 60cm.

Therefore refunds will not be issued in the instance that the Letterbox Flowers box does not fit thorough the letterbox. However, Royal Mail will leave a collection card in the event that Letterbox Flowers do not fit. Our packages are designed to keep your flowers in good condition for a couple of days but we would advice that parcels are collected as soon as possible. 

 

How do I order flowers?

How do I know if you received my order?
Once your order has been placed and processed you will receive a confirmation email. If you do not receive this within 12 hours please email us [email protected]

 

Can I amend my order?
If you need to amend your order after it has been placed please email us [email protected] before 8am on the morning of your chosen despatch date Monday to Friday.

 

Can I send flowers to a hospital or business?
We can deliver to business’ and hospitals, however some hospitals have restrictions on flower deliveries. We would suggest that you contact the hospital/business directly before placing your order to avoid any disappointment.

 

Can I include a personal message with my order?
All flowers are supplied with an optional FREE personalised greeting card. You can add a personal message to your card.

 

Payment
What methods of payment are acceptable?
We accept payment by Credit Card, Debit Card, PayPal & ApplePay.

Are my details secure when ordering online?
Our payment providers use the latest encrypted technologies and your card details are not stored by Postabloom, ensuring the security of your payment.

 

Quality and Flower Care
Are flower care instructions provided?
Yes, care instructions are included inside the flower box and in app, which should be followed in order to increase the life and enjoyment of your flowers.  Flowers are a perishable, natural product that will react to their environment. We use only the freshest and highest quality flowers especially selected because we know they travel well. However, once we post our flowers a number of circumstances outside our control may result in their longevity being reduced.

 

How are the flowers packaged?
All our bouquets are packaged in specially designed “flower care” boxes which protect and let the flowers breathe in transit.

Our flowers and plants are delivered with a personalised card and flower food.

 

Do my flowers come in a vase?
Our bouquets are not supplied with a vase.

 

What do I do if the flowers don’t look like the photos in app?
To ensure your flowers last as long as possible some of our flowers will arrive in bud. This means that the flowers can be enjoyed for longer but also one has the pleasure of watching them bloom.

There may be times when we substitute some blooms with a different flower due to climate or seasonal conditions and therefore we reserve the right to substitute any product with an alternate product of a similar style, value and quality. This may mean, from time to time, we have to create your bouquet using slightly different flowers from those illustrated. We will of course ensure we maintain a similar colour and style.

 

What if I’m not satisfied with the quality of my purchase?
We pride ourselves on the quality and freshness of our flowers and our customer service. We select flowers that we know travel well, however, if flower quality is of concern, please contact us immediately. It is essential that we be informed within 48 hours of receiving your flowers, and good quality, multiple photos are supplied to us which were taken on the day of receipt of the flowers. Every effort is made to ensure that our customers receive the product and service that they expect. 

 

Is it safe to send Lilies to a home with pets?
Lilies can be highly toxic to cats and so we strongly advise that our bouquets containing lilies are not sent to cat owners. Lilies are the most poisonous to cats, however we do advise that our bouquets are kept out of reach of all pets to be safe.
