Delivery of Letterbox Flowers, Plants and Hand-Tied Bouquets

How are Postabloom products delivered?
Letterbox Flowers

  • There’s no need for anyone to be home to sign for our convenient Letterbox Flowers, as they are posted right through the letterbox!
  • We offer FREE delivery for our Letterbox Flowers.
  • We use the Royal Mail 24 service, so although more than 95% of the time deliveries will arrive on your nominated delivery day, this can not be guaranteed.
  • Royal Mail suggests a delivery window of 1-3 working days.
  • Royal Mail does not deliver on Sundays or public holidays.
  • No same-day delivery available

    Plants

    • We offer FREE delivery for our Plants.
    • We use the Royal Mail 24 service, so although more than 95% of the time deliveries will arrive on your nominated delivery day, this can not be guaranteed.
    • Royal Mail suggests a delivery window of 1-3 working days.
    • Royal Mail does not deliver on Sundays or public holidays.
    • No same-day delivery available

     

    Hand-tied bouquets 

    • We offer FREE delivery on our Hand-Tied Bouquets.
    • All Hand-Tied Bouquets are sent via DPD Courier on a Standard Next Day service, so they are guaranteed to arrive on your selected delivery date.
    • Please note this courier service does not deliver on Mondays, Sundays or public holidays. 
    • No same-day delivery available

     

    Do you deliver at the weekend or on public holidays?
    We can deliver Hand-Tied bouquets on a Saturday, but not Sundays, Mondays or public holidays.

    We can deliver Letterbox flowers and Plants on a Saturday, but not Sundays or public holidays

     

    Can you guarantee delivery on a specific date?
    To guarantee a specific date (except Sundays, Mondays and public holidays), please choose a Hand-Tied bouquet as they are sent via DPD courier.  

    Our Letterbox Bouquets and Plants are sent via Royal Mail 24. Although more than 95% of the time Letterbox Flowers and Plants will arrive on your nominated delivery day, this can not be guaranteed. 

    However, if you would like to upgrade your Letterbox Flowers or Plant to guaranteed next-day couriered delivery, please order via our Postabloom app.

    We do not offer same-day delivery.

     

    Where do you deliver?
    We currently deliver to almost all addresses on mainland UK.

    However, we do not deliver our couriered products such as Hand-Tied Bouquets to the Channel Islands, Isle of Man, Isles of Scilly, Scottish Islands, BFPO addresses, Northern Ireland or the Republic of Ireland.

    Please ensure you are not sending Hand-Tied Bouquets to any of the following postcode prefixes:

    Products sent via Royal Mail (such as Letterbox Flowers and Plants) to the above postcodes can sometimes take approximately a day longer to arrive than normal.

     

    Can I send flowers to a hospital or business?
    We can deliver to businesses and hospitals but we would suggest that you contact the hospital/business directly before placing your order to avoid any disappointment.

    Some hospitals have restrictions on flower deliveries, and businesses such as hotels may incur a delay from the time of delivery and them reaching the intended recipient. Unfortunately, we can not be held responsible for any delays in your recipient receiving flowers once they have been delivered to the address.

     

    What if the recipient is not home for delivery?
    If a Letterbox Bouquet has been purchased and your recipient has a standard-sized letterbox, then your recipient does not need to be at home for the delivery.

    For our products that do not fit through a letterbox, Royal Mail or DPD will leave a collection card for the recipient to collect the parcel from their local sorting office or from a neighbour if they are not home.

    Our packages are designed to keep your flowers in good condition for a couple of days but we would advise that parcels are collected as soon as possible.

     

    My flowers were not delivered, what do I do?
    Please get in touch with our team via email: [email protected] and we will be sure to help in any way we can.

    Please note that we can not be held responsible if an incorrect or invalid address has been used on an order. Incorrect addresses can cause your flowers to be delayed or to not arrive, so please double-check your recipient's address before you send to avoid disappointment.

     

    Will Letterbox Flowers fit through all letterboxes?
    Unfortunately, we can not guarantee that Letterbox Flowers will fit through all letterboxes. However, our Letterbox Bouquets have been specially designed to fit through the vast majority of standard UK letterboxes, with our box dimensions being as follows: Width: 19cm, Depth: 4cm, Length: 60cm.

    Therefore refunds will not be issued in the instance that the Letterbox Flowers box does not fit thorough the letterbox. However, Royal Mail will leave a collection card in the event that Letterbox Flowers do not fit. Our packages are designed to keep your flowers in good condition for a couple of days but we would advise that parcels are collected as soon as possible. 

      

    Your order

    How do I know if you received my order?
    Once your order has been placed and processed you will receive a confirmation email. If you do not receive this within 12 hours please email us [email protected]

     

    Can I amend my order?
    If you need to amend your order after it has been placed please email us [email protected] before 10am on the working day before your chosen delivery date. After 10am, we can not guarantee that we can make your changes but we will certainly try our best. 

     

    Can I include a personal message with my order?
    Of course you can! All flowers are supplied with an optional FREE personalised greeting card (designed in-house by our talented team). You can add a personal message to your card - make sure you add your name in the card, otherwise your recipient may not know who they're from!

     

    Payment
    What methods of payment are acceptable?
    We accept payment by Credit Card, Debit Card, PayPal & ApplePay.

    Our payment providers use the latest encrypted technologies and your card details are not stored by Postabloom, ensuring the security of your payment.

     

    Quality and Flower Care
    Are flower care instructions provided?
    Yes, care instructions are included inside the flower box and in-app, which should be followed in order to increase the life and enjoyment of your flowers.  Flowers are a perishable, natural product that will react to their environment.

    We use only the freshest and highest quality flowers especially selected because we know they travel well. However, once we post our flowers a number of circumstances outside our control may result in their longevity being reduced.

     

    How are the flowers packaged?
    All our bouquets are packaged in specially designed 'flower care' boxes, which protect the flowers and allow them to breathe during transit.

    Our flowers and plants are delivered with a personalised card and flower food.

     

    Do my flowers come in a vase?
    Our bouquets are not supplied with a vase.

     

    What do I do if the flowers don’t look like the photos on the website?
    To ensure your flowers last as long as possible some of our flowers will arrive in bud. This means that the flowers can be enjoyed for longer, but also one has the pleasure of watching them bloom.

    There may be times when we substitute some blooms with a different flower due to climate or seasonal conditions. Therefore, we reserve the right to substitute any product with an alternate product of a similar style, colour, value and quality. This may mean, from time to time, we have to create your bouquet using slightly different flowers from those illustrated. We will of course ensure we maintain a similar colour and style.

     

    What if I’m not satisfied with the quality of my purchase?
    We pride ourselves on the quality and freshness of our flowers and our customer service. We select flowers that we know travel well. However, if flower quality is of concern, please contact us immediately. It is essential that we be informed within 48 hours of receiving your flowers, and good quality, multiple photos are supplied to us, which were taken on the day of receipt of the flowers. Every effort is made to ensure that our customers receive the product and service that they expect. 

     

    Is it safe to send Lilies to a home with pets?
    Lilies can be highly toxic to cats and so we strongly advise that our bouquets containing lilies are not sent to cat owners. Lilies are the most poisonous to cats, however we do advise that our bouquets are kept out of reach of all pets to be safe.
